Abbey Clancy, 38, shows off a new set of train track braces as she's left red

Abbey Clancy revealed she'd had a set of train track braces fitted as she showed off her pearly whites during Monday's episode of This Morning. 

The model, 38 - who didn't refer to her new look on the programme - was left red-faced during the interview with Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley as she promoted her new podcast, Exhibit A.

Ben, 49, set the mother-of-three up as he revealed: 'We had this question in from one of our viewers...' before the camera cut to a video message from Abbey's husband Peter Crouch. 

Abbey was left laughing as Peter mused: 'Yes my name is Peter I have a question for Abigail. 

'She talks about the new show Exhibit A and enriching her life with some incredible guests that she's she met... does she not feel enriched on the Therapy Crouch with her husband Peter [their joint podcast].'

Laughing away, Abbey at first avoided the question as she asked: 'First of all I want to know why Peter got braces on what is he wearing?' referring to the footballer's backpack. 

As Ben probed for her to answer the question at hand, Abbey admitted: 'I'm trying to think of the right way to answer that! 

'The Therapy crouches is light-hearted, it's fun, we don't take ourselves too seriously, but I just want to learn more...'

As Ben interjected 'and and your your husband's not helping you!' Abbey agreed, adding: 'He is very clever but it's normally on topics that I'm not interested in!' 

Abbey previously had adult braces fitted in 2018, with Dr Ahmed Naji, Aesthetic and Implants Dentist telling MailOnline at the time: 'Abbey’s dental treatment is only a short treatment, which lasts between six and nine months, with brace brand Six Month Smiles.

‘This treatment - costing between £4000 to £12000, depending on the desired end result - would align her teeth, prior to further minimally invasive cosmetic treatment.

‘The teeth will then be bleached (teeth whitening), then the smile line and shape of the teeth can be improved (designed) using either partial thin ceramic veneers or different variations of ceramic veneers.’

Abbey told Hello of the decision: 'I think people look their best when they’re happy and smiling, and having a brace was just something I have wanted to do for a long time.

'Everyone has up and down days and although I’m not a super confident person, I don’t feel pressure to look perfect. 

'I’m confident in myself and around other people, but naturally I have the same hang-ups as everyone else.'

The new look comes at the same time as her new job. 

While Abbey and Peter's joint venture follows the couple navigating their way through complex relationships, Exhibit A focuses on the 'success, struggle and truth behind the human experience'. 

During the latest episode of The Therapy Crouch, the model and the former England football player confessed they had both accidentally sent inappropriate messages to the wrong person.

During the Ask us anything section Peter read out listener Paula's question, she asked: 'Hey have you guys ever texted a person you were actually talking about by mistake, and how did you fix it?

'I've managed to put my foot in it within the wrong group chat, and I need help.'

Before he could finish his sentence, Abbey said: 'Do you know what I've done before? Someone texted me and I screenshot it. I was meant to send it to someone else but sent it back to them.'

Peter couldn't contain his laughter while sympathising, adding: 'There's nothing worse. Talking about someone to someone'.

The sportsman then recalled the 'horrendous' time he accidentally 'sexted' Abbey's mum by sending a 'beaver emoji'.

He explained: 'Yeah I've done it before. Do you remember when I sent your mum a sexual message? That was horrendous'.

Abbey replied: 'He was sexting my mum!'

Peter confessed: 'The beaver emoji sent straight to her mum, that was highly embarrassing wasn't it? That was early on (in our relationship) as well.'

The beaver emoji is sometimes used in text slang to refer to female private parts.

Abbey added: 'That was a Freudian slip wasn't it.'

Red-faced Peter awkwardly ended the conversation: 'Let's move on. I was meant to text you, but I text your mum'.
